INVOLVE is continually pioneering and striving to make live events for our clients as game changing as possible, and everything we do is based on the same 4 involvement principles;
– Be crystal clear about the change you want to see after the event. Design everything around that and measure in all the ways you can.
– Make the most of having everyone in the same space. Don’t do things at a live event that you could have done through other media beforehand. Videos, presentations and data can be shown/streamed pre-event. Don’t stick people in a room and turns the lights off. Boring! Get people in the room hands on. Discussing, debating, brainstorming. Get some emotion going.
– Engagement isn’t good enough. An engaging live event is the very minimum requirement for today’s social media savvy participants. Go further. It’s about participation not just immersion. Let them influence the days agenda and choose sessions and activities they want to focus on. Design fun ways for people to contribute, solve and discover.
– Make it personal. Spend significant time during the event helping individuals see how they can personally make a connection with your content and their day to day focus. Equip them, empower them, mobilise them.
